In 1996, the 23th " Harbin Summer Concert " was co-sponsored by the Culture Bureau of P. R. China and Harbin for the first time. This indicates that the local concert has been promoted to national level. For example, The 28th Harbin Summer Concert was held in Flood Control Monument Tower Square and 1001 performers gave the concert the largest scale piano performance in China. Harbin people have built a bridge to the world with beautiful music notes.
